Many Types of Contacts to Enhance Your Vision
Soft Lenses
- the most comfortable lenses to wear and can be replaced daily, monthly, or weekly. Soft lenses are best for sports because they provide a closer and more comfortable fit. Silicone and hydrogels allow more oxygen to get to the eye for easier wear.
Gas-Permeable (GP) Lenses
- These lenses are made of moderately flexible plastics and offer a sharp vision. GP lenses are softer and easier to hold than soft lenses but require more adaptation for use.
Multifocal Lenses
- Multifocal lenses are used in both soft and GP lenses designs for distance and near vision. These lenses are similar to bifocals.
Color Contact Lenses
- Enhance or change your eye color.
Silicone Hydrogels
- These silicone hydrogels provide the wearer with high oxygen permeability compared to GP lenses for a more comfortable fit.
